Emotional Abuse
Emotional abuse refers to behaviors meant to control, belittle, or manipulate a person’s mental well-being and self-esteem. This form of abuse doesn’t include physical harm, but it can be equally damaging with lasting emotional scars. These abuse tactics often leave a victim feeling confused and experiencing a low sense of self-worth. Examples of emotional abuse include:
