The Delores Barr Weaver Matching Challenge

Quigley House is thrilled to be selected by The Delores Barr Weaver Fund to receive a dollar for dollar match up to $100,000 for contributions made through December 31, 2018!

If you have never given to Quigley House before, now is the time! Thanks to the generosity of Mrs. Weaver, contributions from new donors will be matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000. 100% of these funds will go toward operating emergency shelter and outreach services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Contributions from current donors will be matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000 for our endowment fund.

By joining us in this effort, you can make a difference in the lives of victims and their families. Donations made to Quigley House help supply basic necessities such as food for residents, and the staff needed to operate emergency shelter and outreach services.

Examples include hosting a 5K run or walk, garage sale, casual day/denim day at your office, or accept donations in lieu of gifts for a birthday.

Sponsor or attend an event- Each year we host a Wine Tasting Gala in April during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and the Purple Ribbon Golf Tournament in October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Check the events page for specifics.

Legacy giving- Designate Quigley House as a beneficiary in your will, retirement, or insurance plan. Your gift can be used to support current services, or it can be endowed in your name with the principal amount protected in perpetuity.

Matching gifts- Take advantage of matching contributions. Many employers will match your gift or make a donation based on volunteering. Shop Amazon? Choose “Quigley House” from the Amazon Smile page and they will donate a portion of the sale.

Donate basic needs items from our wish list.
